The Barracuda was manufactured by Plymouth (Chrysler) between 1964 and 1974 and the Oxford replica dates from 1964/65. The Barracuda was classed as a pony car with the 1964 model being unveiled on the Chrysler A body as a two-door hardback fastback coupé. Its sleek lines, particularly its sloping back and wide back window certainly look good in this racy black and gold colour scheme accentuated by the bold gold stripe up the back of the car and along the roof. On this release, the seats and steering wheel are beige against a black interior. Our model is registered in South Carolina in 1965 as F16 043.
