The Ford Thames 400E was a commercial vehicle made by the Ford Motor Company Ltd in the UK. Introduced in 1957, between then and 1987 when production ceased, over 187,000 had rolled off the production line. Its versatility lent itself to many uses including a minibus, camper van as well as seen with this latest introduction as a Police Van.

Registered GAY 689C, our 1:43 scale van is decorated in white with blue side panels and the POLICE lettering is printed in blue on the sides and the front; and red across the rear. The interior is moulded in grey and the model has a black chassis. Exterior details such as door handles, radiator grille and bumpers are finished in chrome. A detailed Glamorgan Constabulary crest has been faithfully reproduced on both sides and the model also features the Police 'blue light' on the roof.
